Ray McCallum, Jr., scored 13 of his 25 points in the fourth quarter to lead Detroit Country Day (9-0) to a 72-64 victory over host Canton (OH) Glen Oak (9-1) on Saturday night. Country Day trailed 37-32 before making its comeback.
"Ray is something," Country Day coach Kurt Kenner said. "He took over in the fourth."
Bennie Fowler added 13 points for Country Day, ranked No. 1 in Class B. DaShonte Riley had 10 points, 10 rebounds and six blocks, and Donnavan Kirk had 10 points and nine rebounds for Country Day.
C.J. McCallum led Glen Oak with 35 points. Glen Oak, which made 12 3-pointers, entered the game averaging 88 points.
