March Madness
The NCAA college basketball tournament is finally upon us with first round games slated to begin Thursday and Friday.
Sixty-four college basketball teams (65, including both play-in teams) spanning the entire country will compete for their lives in 63 contests within just 19 days. From this Thursday through Sunday alone, there will be 48 basketball games played. Talk about a brain overload.
It's the chance for schools from the unknown conferences to claim a spot on national television by pulling off an upset or even stringing together several victories to become a Cinderella story and national phenomenon.
It's one of the most wonderful times of the year and with a seeded bracket system everyone can participate no matter how much of a college b-ball expert he/she is.
