Syracuse basketball star Eric Devendorf plans to return, dad says
Syracuse guard Eric Devendorf has been the subject of recent rumors and reports that he, along with teammates Jonny Flynn and Paul Harris, may not return next season. The Post-Standard's Mike Waters talked to Devendorf's father Curt on Friday who said his son plans on returning for his final year of eligibility.
"Syracuse is very important to Eric," Curt Devendorf said. "We've talked, but he doesn't plan on leaving. As of right now, he plans on coming back next year."
Meanwhile, Jonny Flynn's father told WGRZ TV in Buffalo that his son will work out for NBA scouts without hiring an agent to keep his options open. Earlier this week, coach Boeheim told ESPN he will advise Flynn to test the NBA draft waters.
